How to Live the Luxury Lifestyle, For LESS
From Founder and Chief High Life Hacker, Sean Ogle
I’ve always had an affinity for the finer things in life, but unfortunately, I’m also a cheap ass, ahem, thrifty. Whether it’s fancy hotels and restaurants, nice watches or cool cars, I like it all (who doesn’t?). This presents a problem when you’re still building a fledgling business and aren’t able to make it rain on everybody that walks by.
About a year ago I found myself living in Bali, Indonesia for a period of time. Bali has more $1,000+/night hotel rooms than just about any other place on earth. It’s long been recognized as a place solely for the jet set. While in reality that’s totally not true, I wanted to do a little experiment: could I find a way to hack into this life of luxury – without all the expense? I surprised even myself with the results.
Six weeks after I started this experiment, I’d had a week of free hotel stays in five star resorts. More than half a dozen meals at the finest restaurants on the island, and played 3 rounds of free golf in a place known for triple digit greens fees.
I was onto something, but it wasn’t until repeating my strategies in places like Vail, Mexico, Vegas, and Macau that I knew I was really onto something. And with that, Hacking the High Life was born.

What Others Are Saying
“These tactics are totally legitimate for me – and I never would’ve even considered them if you hadn’t mentioned it here. HTHL is already worth the price it after just 1 day!”
“Loving this site. Easily the best membership program I have ever purchased.”
I got to experience hacking the high life with Sean in person. His methods saved us close to $3,000 in a week on a baller two-story apartment in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. It had two private decks overlooking the ocean, a private pool, gym, flat screen TVs and a king size bed.
That wasn’t even the best part: before we moved in to that apartment, we stayed in a two-story bungalow that came complete with a bucket we could throw off our balcony to be re-stocked with Coronas by the owner, and we’d simply pull it back up to our room. That place normally rents for $300 a night – we stayed for $80.
I saw it with my own eyes and believe me: booking those rooms had nothing to do with Sean’s blog, and everything to do with Hacking The High Life strategies.
I thought Sean was crazy when he told me he wanted to take a ski trip to Vail, one of the most expensive ski resorts in the world. He organized a 5-star hotel at the base of the mountain at the $150/night ‘media rate’ instead of the standard $549 nightly rate.
I thought it was just because he has the Location 180 blog.. but when he told me how he did it, I realized any fool (like me) could do the same thing… I didn’t need a big blog or a community of readers. I just needed to think outside the box. If you want to live the luxury lifestyle without the high costs, join Hacking The High Life.
I was amazed when Sean came out to do some business with us in China. A quick e-mail evolved into a private tour of the Wynn Macau as well as lunch at their two star Michelin restaurant… all at no cost! These tactics work, as I saw for myself in one of the most prestigious cities in Asia. No gimmicks… just results.

Frequently Asked Questions
1 I’m not traveling to any of the exotic places you mentioned. Is this still beneficial?
Many (most) of the posts you’ll see here simply use different locations to illustrate more broadly applicable tactics – these things can be applied all over the world. The focus of the site is on the tactics, not the locations.
2 How is this different from other “hacking” sites like the Travel Hacking Cartel?
While the Travel Hacking Cartel is a fantastic site, it’s very different from this. There you will find specific promotions for hotels or airline miles, updated on a regular basis. If that’s what you want, then by all means, go there. While there will be some of that here, Hacking the High Life focuses much more on repeatable strategies that you can implement any time – regardless of whether or not your desired destination or establishment is running a special sale.
3 Why should I pay for this information?
I wrestled a lot with how to distribute this information. The bottom line is, I’ve received a lot of stuff for free. The goal of the businesses giving this stuff away, isn’t to give more of it away. It’s to get publicity so they can sell more. Therefore, I didn’t feel comfortable giving away the information to just anybody. You’re getting an extremely candid peek into how I personally get incredible experiences when I travel.
This site is all about mutual value. In order to get most of the things I do, I provide value in terms of exposure, traffic, and honest testimonials to the people that hook me up.
4 What if I want to cancel my membership later?
For the monthly plans, you simply login to your paypal account and cancel the subscription. It’s about as easy as it gets.
For those on a yearly membership, if you cancel we’ll keep $25 for each month you’ve been with us and refund the rest. For example: if you cancel after 4 months, you get a refund of $80 ($180 – 4 months x $25).
5 I don’t have a big blog like you, can I still get these deals?
While having a blog or an audience is definitely an asset when it comes to this kind of stuff, I’ve specifically designed these strategies to work regardless of whether or not you have a big audience.
Risk Free Return Policy
I know how scary it can be to jump into a new product or service, especially one that has just come out. Not knowing if it’s a scam or if it’s actually going to be any good.
Well I want to take all of the worry out of it for you.
I believe in this program so much that I’ll give you 30 days to try it out, see what’s what, and decide if it’s right for you. Not digging it? Not a problem! You can cancel your subscription at any time in the first 30 days and I’ll simply refund your money, no questions asked!
Special Release Bonus
To really get things going I’m doing a special Q and A webinar for the first 100 members who join any of the three tiers. We’ll go in depth into how to set yourself up to leverage these strategies, as well as answer any questions you have about how you can apply them in your own life. I’ll stay on for as long as I need to in order to make sure everything you want to know gets covered.
That said, this is special for the first 100 members, so don’t wait too long
